Description will be<br /> in the form of two columns. On the left side there are steps to be done, on the right side there are more<br /> details and comments on problems can happen or errors should be avoided.<br /> <br /> We can divide the work generally into these steps:<br /> <br /> * Brick unpacking.<br /> * Scanback<br /> - Create the new brick folder.<br /> - Create the map file (marks and corners).<br /> - Light and Cutoff measurement.<br /> - Start Scanback.<br /> - Finish Scanback (how to judge that we have a stopping point?).<br /> - Notes<br /> * Total scan<br /> <br /> Shifter is kindly requested to respect the following shift-rules in order to increase the work efficiency.<br /> * Shift time is as the following:<br /> Mond, Tu, Thur, Frid: 09h00 --&gt; 13h00 (morning shift)<br /> 13h00 --&gt; 14h00 (lunch time)<br /> 14h00 --&gt; 18h00 (afternoon shift)<br /> Wednesday: 09h00 --&gt; 13h00 (morning shift)<br /> 13h00 --&gt; 14h00 (lunch time)<br /> From 14h00 : OPERA internal meeting<br /> From after meeting --&gt; 18h30 (afternoon shift)<br /> * The time 09h00 --&gt; 09h15 is dedicated for microscopes and pc’s cleaning<br /> * On Mond, Wed, Frid stage glass should be cleaned using the chemical liquid as the following:<br /> - Initialize the microscope in order to let enough space for cleaning to not hit the laterals camera of marks measurement<br /> - Clean the galss carefully using a dry paper.<br /> - Put some drops on the glass.<br /> - Wait 10 minutes<br /> - Clean the glass using a semi-dry paper (put some drop of water on the paper).<br /> * Shifter should not spend lot of time in other activity not related with shift like long phones orinternet use (quick check of mails is OK).<br /> * In case of requested job was finished, and shifter has nothing to do, then he is requested to ask the shift coordinator what to do (do not waste the time!!!).<br /> <br /> == Brick unpacking ==<br /> <br /> Unpack the brick means prepare it for scanning.<br /> <br /> Use the unpacking box to put emulsion plates inside. Go from plate N° 1 to plate N° 57. A plastic separator must be interposed between each two emulsions as the following:</div>
