Scanning meeting 18.07.08

Present:
Frederic, Guillaume, Frank, Jonas

Status & outlook:

Mic1: 
idle

Mic2: 
Jonas: Pi/Muon separation, continue on b7 (2500 prediction done)
going on for the rest (4600 in total)

Mic3: 
Frank: Peanut b14, large scan area 7cm2, plate 91..52 done 
(some optical mark printed twice). Some more  tuning needed. 
Working on alignment

Mic5: 
Thomas and Res: b40796 crossing muon brick. 
Works well, problems with intercalibration, increased size of area (almost 2cm2) 
now easy to intercalibrate. Problem: stickiness of emulsions. Work in progress... 
finished soon.

General infos
Mic 2,3,5 are running now on lheppc56 (very fast...)
Mic 1,4 are still running on lheppc46
change nfs link... data available on web
lhepsun6 and lhepsun15 (two terabigs) can be accessed on lheppc46 (scan/lhepsun??) read only access (also on web access)

about DB: 
some work done but still some problems to access to OPITA and OPFRA
DB update concerning CS prediction has been done
