B3
General Informations
- brick 3 of the Pi/Mu separation
- Muons with 0 mrad angle
- 4646 predictions scanned from plate 1..38
To Do
- Include the last 100 missing stopping points (pred 1..100) into plot - OK.. see problems
- merge sbt-files - OK
- start to analyse
Status
- working directory: MICROSCOPE5/ONLINE/PSI/b000003/ totalscan
- work done previously
- plate 1..3 scanned DSET 4 Areas
- new intercalibration performed
- prediction produced: 4646: pred_abs(s.eTX)<0.05&&abs(s.eTY)<0.05&&!(abs(s.eTX-0.04)<0.01&&abs(s.eTY-0.005)<0.013)&&nseg==3.txt.txt
- predictions (4647): all tracks XY, all tracks TXTY, pred XY, pred TXTY
- working directory: MICROSCOPE2/ONLINE/b000003/ scanback (light level: 30800, cut off: 0: 950, 1: 900)
- preparation for scanback
- ON: ... scanback with a sample of 5x100 predictions including intercalibration with the stronger cut
... alignment of plate 12 seems to be wrong (check_path of the merged sbt -file plot_path())
Checking...
Restarted calibration on pl12 (added Load() to scanback() function...was not there) seems OK
Stopped at scanback of Pl12. Rebooted microscope, Re-mounted disk Z: (didnt mount automatically!!) Restarted with scanback of pl11...
27.06.08 Finished. Pl37.
Continue with area 7..47 (each has 100 prediction)
area 7..47 scanned for plate 1 to plate 4
continue with area 7..12 - finsihed
continue with area 13..25
new working directory on pc56: lheppc56/terabig/scan/MICROSCOPE2/ONLINE/b000003/ not yet available on the web
scanned so far: prediction set 1..25 for all the plates, prediciton set 1..45 (out of 45) for plate 1..4
continue scanning prediction set 26..35 from plate 5++
25.07.08 finished until set 35.... start last set: 36..47
27.7.08 finished .. plot of stopping points (all 4647 predictions)
Problems
- lost of prediction at plate 12 with the automatic alignment
- Stopping points for pred 1..100 (set 1) was special. Somehow all prediction started from plate 2 and and therefore for the exctraction the START_PLATE had to be set to 2 (with START_PLATE=1 there were no paths and no stopping points to extract).
