The default value of the temperature in the laboratory should be around 22 degree and the relative humidity around 63 percent.
Very hot days end of June beginning of July
The temperature of the scanning laboratory was stable around 22.5 degree and the relative humidity was also stable around 62 percent until end of June. Then a periode of hot days changed the conditions. Most probably the hot and dry weather outside was responsile for that.
- Effects:
* Temperature stable around 23 degrees (little bit increased) * Relative humidity around 48 percent (decreased a lot)
- Why this effects:
* Low relative humidity from fresh air from outside. * B/c of the hot temperature, the air conditioner is cooling a lot and dries the air in the lab
- Goal:
* Go back to default conditions * Stabilaze the relative humidity to the default value (around 62 percent)
Actions:
Date | Temp | r.R. | Action | Comment |
---|---|---|---|---|
July 1 | 22.9 | 47 | humidifier to manual mode | no effect |
July 2 | 22.8 | 49 | air conditioner to default 23 | increase in both within 1 hour |
July 2: 1 hour later | 23.9 | 58 | ||
July 2: 5 hour later | 24.6 | 60 | ||
July 3: | 25 | 58 | keep it like that | |
July 7: | 25.1 | 53 | air conditioner to default 21 | |
July 8: morning | 30! | 69 | air conditioner to default 20! | AIR CONDITIONER did blow out hot air! .. is decreasing |
July 8: afternoon | 25.7 | 41 | air conditioner to default 21 | room is cooling down ... |
- Action July 1st
* Change humidifier from automatic to manual mode 2 (most powerful humidification) * Humidifier did run constantly all day and night. The relative humidity increased to 50 percent. This effect could also be due to less cooling during the night.
- Action July 2nd
* Increas default temperature to 23 degrees (instead of 22 degrees) in order to have less cooling of the air conditioner (less drying)
- Action July 7th
* Put default value of the air conditioner to 21 degree. Hope that humidity gets better.
